Housekeeping Assistant

The Housekeeping Assistant role is onsite in Vinton, VA, with compensation of $15–$16 per hour. What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
• dust and disinfect surfaces
• sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• dispose of waste according to facility policies
• restock supplies
• safely use cleaning chemicals
• maintain carts, equipment, and supply closets
• report hazards and equipment issues
• respond to spills and special cleaning requests
• follow infection-control and hazardous-waste procedures.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and prior healthcare or long-term-care housekeeping experience are preferred. Requires ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; flexible hours may include evenings and weekends as needed.
