The Video and Multimedia Instructor, School Break Camp role is onsite in Newton, MA. Compensation is $20 per hour. The instructor leads filmmaking and multimedia activities for campers in grades K–5 during school breaks. JCC Greater Boston provides community programs and camps guided by values of belonging, joyfulness, collaboration, and transformation. The role exists to help children explore video and media through age-appropriate projects while supporting their safety, confidence, and participation. The instructor plans and leads specialty activities, adapts them for campers’ needs, and works with counselors and camp leadership to create a cohesive camp experience.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and lead age-appropriate video and multimedia activities
• guide campers in making short films and videos
• ensure camper safety and well-being
• create an inclusive and supportive environment
• maintain and request supplies and equipment
• adapt activities for diverse needs
• support camp events and operations
• collaborate with counselors and camp leadership
• attend assigned meetings and trainings.
