The Electronic Technician II (Floor) – 1st Shift role is onsite in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Compensation is $26.25 to $27.75 per hour. G&W Electric develops engineered electrical power grid solutions, and this role supports assembly and testing of electronic controls and related assemblies. The technician assembles, installs, tests, and troubleshoots electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity. The work contributes to production quality through final checkout, inspection, documentation, and coordination with manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies from mechanical and electrical drawings
• install and test completed assemblies
• perform final electronics checkout
• coordinate with manufacturing on installation and testing
• troubleshoot assemblies for production and aftermarket support
• participate in factory acceptance testing and drawing reviews
• inspect work before passing it to the next operation
• complete production and quality forms
• help train others on moderately complex assembly tasks as needed.
