Dental Assistant — Pediatric Dentistry

The Dental Assistant role is onsite in Helena, MT. Compensation is $18–$26 per hour. Prickly Pear Pediatric Dentistry is a family-friendly practice focused on positive dental experiences for children. The role exists to assist the dentist with pediatric procedures and help children feel comfortable and safe during care. It also supports accurate records, patient and parent education, and the preparation and sterilization of treatment spaces and instruments.

What you'll do

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
• prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• take digital X-rays and impressions as needed
• help children feel comfortable and safe
• educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
• maintain patient records and charting
• support the front office as needed.
