Job overview
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is an onsite role based in Arlington, VA, with a salary range of $120,000–$148,000 per year. This position supports the design of equipment and tooling for energetics chemical manufacturing systems and unmanned systems programs for U.S. Government customers. The role exists to lead mechanical design efforts, taking concepts through detailed design and producing release-quality drawings. It contributes to the team by performing structural analysis, managing CAD data, and providing technical mentorship to junior engineers to ensure project success.

- develop 3D models in SolidWorks and 2D drawings in AutoCAD
- perform FEA structural analysis
- manage CAD data via PDM
