The Industrial Metal Fabrication Welder, GMAW role is onsite in Richmond, IN. Pay is $19–$27 per hour. Contract Industrial Tooling manufactures industrial tooling and fabricated metal products. The welder fabricates and assembles metal components to specifications, translating drawings into finished assemblies and documenting inspection results. The role supports production quality and safe, timely completion of manufacturing work.

What you'll do

• Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG/GMAW and complementary processes
• set up parts, fixtures, and weld sequences
• produce welds in multiple positions
• adjust voltage, amperage, and gas settings
• maintain equipment and request repairs
• verify dimensions with measuring tools and document results
• follow safety procedures and use PPE
• contain nonconforming product and notify management
• follow work instructions and operational standards.
