The Electrical Designer role is onsite in Columbia, MD; compensation is not specified. The role exists to provide electrical design expertise for control systems and panel layouts. It contributes to project delivery by developing drawings and schematics, performing power calculations, selecting components, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and other disciplines.

What you'll do

• Design and develop control-panel and on-machine wiring drawings
• perform power engineering calculations
• design to applicable standards and codes
• design systems using PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
• develop electrical schematics
• evaluate, select, and specify electrical equipment and components
• coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines
• maintain working relationships with clients, panel builders, and the team.
