Accounting Specialist

The Accounting Specialist role is onsite in Chandler, AZ, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $23–$29 per hour. Arizona Liver Health supports clinical trials, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality clinical data. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role maintains financial records and the general ledger, supports monthly financial statements and close, and reconciles accounts. Its work helps ensure accurate organizational accounting, payments, collections, and required government filings.

What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain financial records
• perform cost accounting
• assist with monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit-and-loss statements
• maintain the general ledger
• code invoices, set up accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books
• reconcile bank, cash disbursement, payroll, customer, and other accounts
• manage accounts receivable collections
• verify and process accounts payable invoices
• file forms with government agencies
• use the purchasing and invoicing system
• maintain knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
