What you'll do

• Clean patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical and waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
• use and maintain equipment properly
• maintain patient confidentiality
• assist visitors with directions and introduce self to patients, families, and visitors
• report safety hazards
• transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas
• replenish supplies
• follow handwashing, standard, and isolation precautions
• participate in performance improvement activities and maintain quality standards.
