The CNC Lathe Machinist role is an onsite, full-time first-shift opportunity in Tacoma, WA, paying $28–$36 per hour based on experience and skill level. Tradesmen International recruits experienced machinists for projects in or around Tacoma. The machinist sets up and operates CNC lathes to produce precision metal components, using drawings, tooling, and measurement equipment to meet specifications. The role also develops and adjusts machining processes and programs to support safe, productive work and high-quality craftsmanship.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision metal components
• develop and optimize machining processes
• create and modify simple CNC programs using M-Code and G-Code at the machine
• select and install tooling, fixtures, and accessories
• read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• use precision measuring and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
