What you'll do

• Create and edit CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software
• select tooling and build custom fixtures
• set up CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers
• run production and adjust cutting parameters, tools, offsets, and machines
• inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM equipment, and other precision tools against blueprints and GD&T requirements
• troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and equipment issues
• identify process, tooling, fixture, cycle-time, and shop-efficiency improvements.
