The Vocational Program Director role is onsite in Conroe, TX; compensation is not specified. Nexus Neurorecovery Center provides neurorehabilitation services for adults recovering from brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions. The director leads its CARF-accredited Vocational Services Program. The director provides strategic and clinical leadership, oversees operations and accreditation readiness, and develops vocational programming that supports patients’ transition to community employment. The role integrates vocational goals into treatment plans, builds employer and community partnerships, develops staff, and monitors outcomes to strengthen independence and employment success.

What you'll do

• Lead the CARF-accredited Vocational Services Program
• drive program improvement and clinical quality
• oversee operations, budgeting, performance metrics, and accreditation readiness
• develop vocational programming for people with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to integrate vocational goals into treatment plans
• develop employer and community partnerships
• recruit, mentor, supervise, and develop staff
• monitor outcomes and program performance
• maintain accreditation standards and regulatory compliance.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field; current Certified Rehabilitation Counselor credential; seven years of relevant vocational rehabilitation experience; and three years of leadership or program management experience.
