The Building Automation System Estimator role is onsite in Greenbelt, MD, supporting Conquest Solutions’ BAS corporate department and clients in the Washington, DC metro area; compensation is not specified. The estimator develops project estimates and cost proposals from contract documents, plans, specifications, site visits, and project take-offs. The role also manages vendor and subcontractor pricing, develops customer relationships and sales leads, and supports the BAS construction team as a customer liaison.

What you'll do

• Review BAS project contract documents, plans, and specifications
• attend site visits and walk-throughs
• perform project take-offs and material and labor estimates
• prepare cost proposals
• maintain vendor and supplier relationships
• manage bids and pricing
• maintain estimating software and data
• develop customer relationships and sales leads
• support the BAS construction team as a customer liaison
• present awarded estimate details during job-costing setup.
