Personal Care Aide — Part-Time

The Personal Care Aide role is onsite in Grayson, KY, with hours that vary by client case. Compensation is not specified. Working under the client care coordinator’s scheduling supervision and clinical supervision from a registered nurse or clinical manager, the aide provides personal care and limited household support according to physician orders and the client’s care plan. The role helps clients with daily activities while monitoring and reporting changes in their condition.

What you'll do

• Provide activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living support as ordered in the care plan
• assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, and ambulation
• assist with therapy exercises under a registered therapist’s direction
• prepare meals according to dietary requirements, provide light housekeeping and laundry, and assist with errands and appointments
• provide companionship
• remind clients to self-administer medication but do not administer medication
• document services
• follow universal precautions and HIPAA requirements
• report changes in client condition and incidents.
