The Technical Program Manager, Flight Systems Platform role is onsite in South San Francisco, CA, with a minimum office presence of four days per week. The starting cash range is $165,000–$210,000 per year. Zipline operates an autonomous drone delivery network carrying critical supplies, including medicine and food. The role owns cross-functional platform programs from strategy through delivery, coordinating dependencies, risks, milestones, and decisions across engineering and operations teams. Its work supports the reliability, safety, availability, and scale of the aircraft fleet and its supporting infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Own cross-functional programs from strategy through delivery
• lead migrations, rollouts, and architectural transitions
• improve platform reliability, scalability, latency, cost, testing, and deployment
• establish launch readiness criteria
• make cross-functional tradeoffs explicit
• maintain program reviews, dependency tracking, risk registers, decision logs, updates, and dashboards
• drive incident and postmortem follow-through
• manage schedules, resourcing, vendor dependencies, and escalations.
