Field Technician

Job overview

The Field Technician role is onsite in Lima, OH. Pay is $25–$37 per hour. The role supports EquipmentShare’s equipment service and repair work using technology to manage work orders, service intervals, parts, and diagnostics. The technician maintains and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment. Accurate diagnostics, safe repair practices, and timely work-order documentation help keep equipment operating and support customer needs.

What you'll do

• Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues
• safely maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment
• assist with training lower-level technicians as needed
• document work performed
• assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery
• travel to customer sites for repairs when required
• maintain a clean and professional service vehicle when acting as a field mechanic.
