The role exists to lead and maintain all food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance programs. It ensures products are produced, handled, and distributed in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, customer, and company food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor, verify, and maintain food safety programs, including HACCP, CCPs, PRPs, allergen controls, sanitation, and traceability requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections, audits, quality checks, and food safety testing.
• Maintain accurate food safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Provide food safety and quality training to employees.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Assurance and Food Safety team members.
• Manage staffing, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
