The Controller role is onsite in Boulder, CO. The annual salary range is $110,000–$140,000. FieldLine Industries develops and manufactures quantum sensing technology, including high-sensitivity quantum magnetometers and multi-sensor systems. As the company’s first dedicated Controller, this role owns accounting and financial operations and builds systems to support growth. It maintains accurate records, manages close and reporting, monitors cash flow, and develops scalable processes and controls to inform company decisions.

What you'll do

• Maintain the general ledger and day-to-day accounting
• manage month-end and year-end close
• reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and credit cards
• prepare cash forecasts
• support reviews, audits, and compliance
• maintain fixed asset records
• coordinate tax preparation with external CPA partners
• improve accounting processes and controls
• use accounting software and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows
• contribute to capital, financial, and liquidity strategies.
