What you'll do

• Review patient records
• interview patients and document complaints and vital signs
• manage patient flow and triage
• assist with BLS measures
• collect and handle specimens
• communicate test results and instructions
• educate patients and caregivers
• carry out provider orders
• prepare patients and equipment for procedures
• assess wounds
• start and monitor IVs as directed
• manage supplies and emergency equipment
• assist with medication management, referrals, care plans, and documentation
• maintain confidentiality and safety.
