The Maintenance Mechanic — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Brockton, MA. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. The mechanic maintains Crown Uniform and Linen Service’s facility and production equipment, supporting its uniform and linen services. The role repairs and maintains production equipment, troubleshoots failures, and performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. This work helps keep laundry production equipment and facilities in safe, proper operating condition.

What you'll do

• Maintain complex production equipment
• troubleshoot failures and perform repairs
• conduct predictive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on equipment and facilities
• perform basic upkeep of facilities, grounds, and buildings
• assist with installation of new equipment and fabricate equipment or supplemental pieces when needed
• use laundry machinery, compressors, conveyors, rail systems, welders, hand and power tools, and other listed equipment.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday–Friday, starting at 3:00 p.m. until work is completed. Requires at least one month of day-shift training before transitioning to the night shift; high school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years of mechanical experience required; must hold or be able to obtain a second-class fireman license or higher.
