The Preschool Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Merrillville, IN. Compensation is $14 per hour based on experience and location. Bright Beginnings Academy creates safe, engaging early-learning environments where children can develop and learn. The assistant teacher supports classroom staff by helping deliver daily activities and curriculum, supervising children, and maintaining a positive, safe classroom experience. The role contributes to children’s development through guidance, interaction, and play while assisting with routines and family communication.

What you'll do

• Help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom
• support daily activities and curriculum implementation with the lead teacher
• actively supervise children and maintain required ratios
• support development through positive guidance, interaction, and play
• assist with classroom routines, organization, family communication, and school operations.
