What you'll do

• Direct and plan mechanics’ work
• assist with aircraft system, airframe, and engine repairs
• help ensure work meets FAA and manufacturer specifications
• review technical publications
• coordinate with shop and office personnel
• promote safety procedures
• prepare aircraft and paperwork for quality inspection
• ensure work orders are ready to close
• maintain shop equipment and work areas
• provide backup to line personnel moving aircraft.
