Restoration Technician

The Restoration Technician role is onsite in Hobart, Indiana. Compensation is $17 per hour. SERVPRO of Eastern Lake County helps local families and businesses recover after fire, water, and mold disasters. The technician performs hands-on cleanup and restoration work in affected residential and commercial properties. The role removes damaged materials, extracts water, cleans and treats structures and contents, and works with crew chiefs to follow safety protocols and restoration standards.

What you'll do

• Perform controlled demolition and remove damaged materials
• extract water and sewer backups
• clean and treat structural elements
• remove soot, smoke, and water damage using professional equipment
• clean and restore damaged contents, including furniture and personal property
• assist crew chiefs onsite and follow safety and restoration standards.
