The advisor owns recurring client-facing technology strategy and planning for an assigned client group. Assessments, roadmaps, budgets, risk tracking, executive reviews, and delivery coordination help clients align technology decisions with business goals and manage security and compliance priorities.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain 12–36 month client technology roadmaps
• own annual technology budgets and forecasts
• translate business changes into technology decisions and scoped work
• conduct onboarding and annual infrastructure and security assessments
• maintain client risk registers and escalate unaccepted risks
• map client posture to relevant frameworks as gap analyses
• operate the vCIO platform
• drive policy, awareness training, incident-response planning, and tabletop exercises
• lead executive reviews
• coordinate scoped work with Service Delivery
• manage vendor relationships at the advisory level
• track client satisfaction and renewal risk.

Why this role

Requires 7+ years in IT, including 3+ years in client-facing advisory, vCIO, consulting, or IT management in an MSP or professional-services environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, networking, backup and recovery, CIS Controls v8, and NIST 800-171 required.
