The Executive Director/Vice President, Corporate Development role is onsite in Waltham, MA. The salary range is $290,000–$320,000 per year. Crescent Biopharma is developing oncology therapies, including a PD-1 x VEGF bispecific antibody and antibody-drug conjugates, with the aim of advancing treatments for solid tumors. The role builds a strategic view of the solid tumor oncology landscape and identifies external opportunities that can strengthen the company’s pipeline. Working with research, clinical development, business development, and executive leaders, the role turns scientific and competitive intelligence into portfolio priorities and decision-ready recommendations for leadership and the Board.

What you'll do

• Maintain a landscape of approved, clinical-stage, and preclinical solid tumor therapies
• develop a portfolio matrix
• identify and evaluate potential collaborations, in-licensing opportunities, platforms, and research tools
• prioritize portfolio gaps
• source and validate clinical, competitive, and commercial intelligence
• partner cross-functionally on strategy and resource allocation
• prepare recommendations and materials for executives and the Board.

Why this role

Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in oncology portfolio strategy, competitive intelligence, business development, translational research, or a related biopharma function; advanced scientific degree strongly preferred, with equivalent expertise considered.
