Job overview
The Network Architect role is an onsite position based in Washington, DC, with a pay range of $40-$48/hr. This role supports the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program, which serves as the core backbone for the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet. The role exists to provide operations-focused network engineering, including fault diagnosis, repair, installation, and configuration of NGEN-R network architectures. It contributes to the team by ensuring network reliability, managing COMSEC assets, and supporting incident response and cybersecurity requirements.
