Digital Marketing Summer Intern

Job overview

The Digital Marketing Summer Intern role is hybrid, based in Red Moon Marketing’s Charlotte, NC office, with 2–4 office days per week and flexibility around class schedules. Compensation is not specified. This paid, part-time internship lasts 10 weeks during Summer 2027 and supports the agency’s digital team on client projects. The intern assists with planning, building, monitoring, and optimizing paid social, paid search, and programmatic campaigns. The role also contributes to campaign analysis, advertising copy and simple creative assets, reports, presentations, meetings, and research to help the team improve campaign performance and deliver client work.

What you'll do

• Assist with campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization across paid social, paid search, and programmatic platforms, including Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and Yahoo DSP
• analyze campaign data and help develop recommendations
• draft basic advertising copy and create or adapt simple creative assets using tools such as Canva
• prepare presentations, reports, and project updates
• attend meetings and document follow-ups
• research advertising trends and digital tools
• support experiential marketing events on occasion and travel as needed for assigned projects.
