Project Designer, Land Development

Job overview

The Project Designer, Land Development role is onsite in Tampa, FL. Salary is $55,000–$80,000 annually. CPH is a multidisciplinary engineering and architectural design firm. Working under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer, the designer prepares site layout, grading, and construction design documents for large commercial developments. The role coordinates with project disciplines and supports accurate, timely client and agency deliverables.

What you'll do

• Prepare presentation, design, and construction documents using AutoCAD
• coordinate with engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients
• interpret codes, regulations, and client requirements
• apply CAD standards and templates
• calculate quantities and areas for civil engineering designs
• periodically travel for site investigations, measurements, and construction observations and prepare reports and exhibits
• compile construction plans and support timely agency submissions
• coordinate designs with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
