The CNC Operator — 5-Axis Milling and CNC Lathe role is onsite in Davenport, IA, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Pay is $27–$34+ per hour, based on experience. The role supports a high-precision job shop specializing in complex, one-off and short-run parts. The operator programs, sets up, and runs CNC equipment to produce accurate parts from models and complex drawings. The role contributes to quality and efficient production by optimizing toolpaths, inspecting work, and identifying process improvements.

What you'll do

• Program, set up, and operate 5-axis milling machines and/or live-tooling CNC lathes
• work from solid models and complex drawings
• optimize toolpaths for accuracy, efficiency, and surface finish
• select tooling and workholding strategies
• inspect work to tight tolerances
• contribute ideas to improve processes and reduce cycle time.
