What you'll do

• Oversee implementation of operating procedures and policies, risk assessments, and incident records
• maintain and administer the camp site
• work with the HR Director and Operations Director
• support staff and participants
• evaluate staff implementation of lesson plans, sports programming, and field-trip management
• account for camper and staff whereabouts and safety
• communicate with parents about activities, behavior, and injuries
• lead weekly onsite staff meetings
• mentor staff and volunteers
• coordinate with the Assistant Site Director on property and equipment
• observe participant energy and safety
• serve as a first point of contact for parent queries, complaints, and site visits
• participate in preseason training and preparation.
