What you'll do

• Operate a tractor to reposition single and double trailers
• perform and document pre- and post-trip inspections
• coordinate trailer placement with operations, shipping, and receiving
• follow work orders and safety instructions
• apply temperature-sensitive product protocols
• secure trailers and loads
• conduct yard checks and recordkeeping
• start, adjust, and stop trailer refrigeration
• maintain yard order and cleanliness
• follow food-safety and HACCP procedures
• assist with minor tractor or trailer repairs as needed.
