Staff Accountant

What you'll do

• Maintain client accounting records
• prepare and post journal entries
• maintain general ledgers
• reconcile accounts
• prepare and analyze financial statements and P&L reports
• support period-end close
• assist with individual and business tax returns, tax planning, and projections
• communicate with clients and taxing authorities as assigned
• support payroll, sales tax, and 1099 needs
• maintain client files and workflow updates
• collaborate across teams
• identify process improvements
• track time and manage assigned work.
