Job overview

The Electrical Construction Estimator II role is onsite in Boise, Idaho; the stated annual salary range is $95,000–$125,000, with an opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus. EC Electric’s work includes commercial and industrial electrical estimating and preconstruction. The estimator develops accurate, competitive estimates and proposals by reviewing project documents, completing takeoffs, analyzing labor and material costs, coordinating vendor and subcontractor quotes, and documenting scope assumptions and risks. The role also participates in estimate reviews and supports less-experienced estimators on defined tasks.

What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, schedules, and bid requirements
• perform quantity takeoffs
• develop estimates and analyze labor, material, equipment, subcontract, and indirect costs
• coordinate and review vendor and subcontractor quotations
• document assumptions, exclusions, clarifications, and scope gaps
• participate in site visits, estimate reviews, and bid close activities
• maintain bid records.
