What you'll do

• Perform daily husbandry and exhibit maintenance
• conduct area chats, feeds, presentations, and behind-the-scenes tours featuring macaws
• follow species quarantine procedures
• assist with research projects and exhibit modifications
• help train seasonal care staff, interns, and volunteers
• provide guest service and public interpretation.

Why this role

One year of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree in life sciences, zoology, or a related field are required. Experience with psittacine species and free-flight training is highly desired. Weekend, holiday, and overtime availability is required as needed.
