Lead Panel Shop Technician - Manufacturing and Installation

The Lead Panel Shop Technician role is onsite in Grantsville, MD, with compensation of $24–$28 per hour. The position builds and wires electrical control panels for Pillar Innovations’ internal and external customers. The technician leads by example on the shop floor, performing panel work and troubleshooting while guiding daily work, supporting quality standards, and mentoring technicians. The role also supports installation, testing, safe wiring practices, and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• support quality control and accurate project documentation
• assist with onsite installations
• train and mentor panel shop technicians
• oversee panel building, control wiring, assembly, electronics, soldering, and testing
• lead installation of energized systems
• ensure safe wiring practices and electrical code compliance
• perform advanced electrical troubleshooting.
