What you'll do

• Work on hot-side equipment such as fryers, ovens, grills, and steamers
• maintain gas and electric systems
• calibrate thermostats, safety switches, burners, and heating elements
• service cold-side equipment including coolers, freezers, ice machines, and prep tables
• troubleshoot compressors, refrigerant leaks, evaporators, and controls
• conduct performance tests and preventive maintenance
• interpret wiring diagrams and manuals
• document service work
• install equipment and follow safety and code requirements.
