What you'll do

• Collect, process, and handle biological specimens
• instruct patients in sample collection
• perform assigned laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis
• conduct chemical analyses and blood counts
• perform transfusion testing and may collect blood samples
• maintain cell and tissue cultures as appropriate
• perform quality control
• calibrate and troubleshoot instruments
• record and report results.

Why this role
