Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Valley View, OH, with occasional travel to Stow, OH. The schedule is 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with weekends and overtime as required and an on-call rotation. Pay is $24 per hour. The role provides facility maintenance support for production equipment, office areas, facility services, grounds, and buildings. The technician supports safe, reliable facility and production operations by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and installation work across equipment and building systems. The role also works with production employees and leadership and participates in safety meetings, teams, and audits.

What you'll do

• Assist the Facility Maintenance Lead with automated controls, testing equipment, instrumentation, wiring, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine tools, and electrical systems up to 480 volts AC
• install, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment and building systems
• provide production support and preventive maintenance and repairs
• identify repair parts and services
• use hand and power tools and operate a forklift
• maintain work logs
• participate in safety meetings and audits and follow safety procedures.
