The Senior System Administrator, MALS-14 role is onsite in Cherry Point, NC. Compensation is not specified. Paradigm Max Q supports defense readiness and the warfighter; this position supports the Aviation Logistics Information Management System at MALS and aviation readiness for the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. The role is contingent upon contract award. The administrator sustains ALIMS and supporting server and network systems so they remain available, secure, and compliant. The role combines infrastructure administration, troubleshooting, security engineering, deployment support, and training to help maintain mission-ready aviation logistics systems.

What you'll do

• Plan, implement, and manage server and network infrastructure. Administer virtualization environments including VMware and Linux and cloud environments
• manage firewalls, backups, and system protection
• develop automation scripts. Maintain network infrastructure, hardware, software, and application support environments. Train and mentor ALIMS personnel, troubleshoot server operating systems and hypervisors, coordinate support requests with NIWC and NAVAIR, support network security and vulnerability remediation, and advise on deployed network operations.
